About BHP:

In 1994 Dr James Mc Tague, PsyD founded Behavioral Health Providers, P.C. in Cary, IL.- a suburb of Chicago. We have always helped anyone having difficulties navigating life’s more challenging transitions.

In 2000 we expanded to a second location in Geneva, IL, and in 2019 we added teletherapy. A secure and convenient way to meet with one of our therapists online. Allowing us to reach out, and help even more people.

Our wonderful group of seasoned clinicians each has more than ten years of experience. This gives us unique expertise and perspectives on a variety of challenges in the psychological, social, and emotional health for individuals, partnerships, and families. So, we can provide our clients with an experienced guide and collaborator lo help them find a smoother path in life.

Dr James McTague

Dr James McTague, PSYD

A Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over thirty years of experience with children, teens adults and senior citizens.

James worked in medical, physical rehabilitation, substance abuse rehabilitation and psychiatric facilities in rural, suburban, and inner-city settings. His speciality areas and interests are in helping families and individuals overcome life’s roadblocks, disappointments, tragedies and traumas.

Dr Becky McTague, Ed.D

A qualified educator who has over thirty years of experience ranging from elementary schools to the university.

ln addition, Becky has taught at public and private schools in a variety of settings and was a professor in Literacy at Roosevelt University.

Mandy Kelleghan, LCSW

A licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She graduated from Aurora University, Loyola University, and the University of Iowa. Her master’s Degrees are in Social Work, Human Resources, and Industrial Relations.

Mandy’s extensive counselling experience spans a variety of treatment settings. This experience includes hospital crisis intervention and case management, private practice, schools, senior living facilities, and community-based services.
